<br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mady Reiter. Chair - Circle Pines Lexington Police Commission <br />Mady Reiter was present to introduce herself as the newly appointed Chairperson-Circle Pines <br />Lexington Police Commission and to meet the Centerville City Council. Ms. Reiter announced <br />the first Tri-City Joint meeting is scheduled on April 30, 1998 at Lexington City Hall, 7:30 pm. <br />In addition, she understood Centerville will be making a decision no later than April 22 for City <br />representation. Ms. Reiter felt the City of Centerville is well served by the Circle Pines/Lexington <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />Currently, Ms. Reiter is an active Councilmember for the City of Shore view, however, this fall she <br />plans to run for Mayor. Also, her son is a police officer and she is a volunteer with the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's Department. In addition, she works as an independent insurance agent for <br />Maple Leaf Agency. Councilmember Powers requested clarity on Ms. Reiter's stint with the City <br />of Shore view. Since there were no further questions, thank you's were exchanged and Ms. <br />Reiter left the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Randy Hagerty - Earth Day April 25. 1998 <br />Mr. Randy Hagerty (Recycling Coordinator) distributed a recycling budget for 1998. <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht requested additional time to review the proposed budget. Mr. <br />Hagerty requested approval on item #3 Earth Day expenditures which is scheduled for April 25th. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers moved and it was seconded to approve the Earth Day expenditures of <br />$675.00 plus $150.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber requested Mr. Hagerty return to the Council and readdress the proposed budget <br />at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Clearwater Meadows Partial Pay Estimate #6 <br /> <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht moved and it was seconded to approve the pay estimate for <br />Clearwater Meadows. Helmbrecht aye, Brenner aye, Wilharber aye, Powers nay.
