<br />Union Contract <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to direct the City Administrator to forward the City <br />Council's counter offer to the union representatives. Councilmember Brenner seconded <br />the motion. Buckbee. Brenner. Wilharber. aye - Powers - abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution 98-27 Adopting 1998 Tax Ley. Collectable in 1999 <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to approve resolution #98-27. Councilmember Powers <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resolution 98-26 Authorizing the CPLPD to Enter into Central Records Joint Powers <br />Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Councilmember Powers moved to approve resolution 98-26 authorizing the CPLPD to <br />enter into central records joint powers agreement with Anoka County. Councilmember <br />Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Newly Elected Conference <br />The Council noted appropriate funds have been allocated for conferences and suggested Staff <br />contact Council-elect and schedule them for the conference. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber reported a reception is scheduled on January 7, at 7:00 p.m. at Circle Pines City <br />Hall to welcome new Police Chief Joel Heckman. <br /> <br />SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Union Contract <br /> <br />From the Consent Agenda <br />Resolution 98-27 <br />Resolution 98-26 <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to approve the set agenda with noted changes. <br />Motion seconded by Councilmember Powers. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March reported on several issues. County Bank requested the City be a depository. <br />The City received a letter on December 17, from Anoka County that they will paint a crosswalk at <br />the intersection of Main Street and20th Avenue. City Hall will be closed at noon on December <br />24. <br /> <br />4 <br />
