City Council Meeting December 18, 1996 MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve pay estimate #3 in the amount of$9,869.31 for Eagle Pass. Motion carried unanimously. Pay Estimate #4, Clealwater Meadows - Wilharber reviewed pay estimate #4 partial payment for Clearwater Meadows, which indicated the total amount due at this time is $11,188.15, with a total retainage of$14,722.22. MOTION by Brenner, seconded by Helmbrecht to approve Clearwater Meadows pay estimate #4 in the amount of$11,188.15. Motion carried unanimously. SET AGENDA: Complaint Meeting with Jim Brimeyer MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Helmbrecht to approve the set agenda. Motion carried unanimously. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Helmbrecht reported she had received a complaint, that there is no speed limit sign on Old Mill Road. Wilharber directed city staff to notify Public Works. Wilharber mentioned Dupre road sign was misspelled. Gaustad reported the sign had been corrected. APPEARANCES: UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Meeting with Jim Brimeyer - 6 month review for the Clerk/Administrator - Meeting was rescheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 3:00 p.m. NEW BUSINESS: COMMITTEE REPORTS: Economic Development Committee - Brenner reported during the EDC meeting the comprehensive plan was discussed. The committee members stressed including the downtown revitalization in the compo plan. Helmbrecht asked if someone from EDC would be present at the public hearing. Brenner believed a member from EDC would be at the public hearing to discuss the downtown area. ~ Brenner reported a correction in the EDC minutes under senior housing; the $66,000 per unit for cottage style was corrected to read $66,000 per unit in an apartment building. 2
