<br />~ <br /> <br />Ms. Capra explained $401 of the Life Time achievement Award has been used from the original <br />$1160 historical donation from the Centerville Lions. Additionally, Ms. Capra requested that <br />$320 from the remaining balance of $660, be used to reproduce 8X10 photos and purchase scrap <br />books. Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested putting the memorabilia items on the Community <br />Walls at the Senior Housing Complex. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Councilmember Powers to authorize $320. <br />from the original Lions donation be deducted for "Around the County." Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ms. Capra added since this is Centerville's 140 established year. Anoka County Historical <br />Society has designated an area to display Centerville memorabilia. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />1997 Seal Coat Bids- <br />Mr. Nyberg explained the bids were opened on Wednesday, and the apparent low bid was Astech <br />Asphalt at $22,036.95. <br /> <br />Lakeland Hills: <br />Anoka County Coordination - Mr. Nyberg explained Anoka County inquired on how Lakeland <br />Development planned to hook onto the County Road 14. <br /> <br />Sidewalks - Mr. Nyberg suggested running the sidewalks along the East side of the development. <br />Councilmember Buckbee explained this issue had been addressed by the Council. <br /> <br />Centerville Road Connection - Mr. Nyberg commented he will have more information on the <br />Centerville Road connection for the May 28, Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Main Street Watermain Project - Councilmember Helmbrecht asked, "When will the yards be <br />done from the water main project?" Mr. Nyberg explained this week he will put together a punch <br />list from the residents on Main Street. Councilmember Helmbrecht explained the silt fence is still <br />there. Councilmember Helmbrecht asked the issues be addressed. Mr. Nyberg asked about the <br />hole on Main Street. Councilmember Helmbrecht explained where it was located. Mr. Nyberg <br />said he would address the hole in the road on Main Street and the other issues. <br /> <br />Garage Sale Days - Transient Sales - <br />Mr. Randy Hagerty, Centerville Recycling Coordinator had a written request to waive the <br />transient permit fee for Mr. Todd Smith since he will be providing the food for the Car Show <br />participants. Mr. Hagerty expects 25 people to participate in the Car Show with an estimated <br />revenue of$50.00. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Buckbee, seconded by Councilmember Powers to approve Mr. <br />Hagerty request for the transient fees for Todd Smith be waived. Motion carried. <br />
