Mayor Wilharber said no and there is only a year warranty on the road. <br /> <br />Bill Dornseif, 1783 Peltier Lake Drive, commented this time he wants the road done right. <br /> <br />Mr. Black explained the water main it is the best long term interest of the City although, issues <br />like these bring the politics home. Hopefully, everyone will consider capturing the cost to cross <br />the creek and apply it to the cost of Peltier Lake Drive. <br /> <br />Mr. Leon Moran, 1743 Peltier Lake Drive, voiced concern of the cost associated with the <br />improvement. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Sprinkler Ordinance - <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht commented Mr. Hellings said the ordinance is not very restrictive. <br />Mr. Nyberg explained if the City deems it necessary, the ordinance can be more restrictive in the <br />future. Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested Tom, Jim and Paul be the authority over the <br />sprinkler ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Helmbrecht to approve ordinance #63, <br />establishing lawn and garden use programs as outlined. Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht, seconded by Councilmember Brenner to have Tom <br />Wilharber Mayor, Paul Palzer Public Works Director/Building Official and Jim March City <br />Administrator be authority over the sprinkler ban ordinance. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Remaining work on Main Street Water Project- <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht requested the sod be taken care of from the Main Street project. <br />Further, on the North side of Main Street, Tom Dupre's property, still has a slit fence. Mr. <br />Nyberg said Udo Wegmann (1742 Main Street) requested steps since the pitch is too far out or <br />back. Further, RCWD has some concerns with the drainage with on of the developments. Mr. <br />Nyberg reported he received a letter from RCWD which didn't indicate who or what, so he will <br />speak with Tony from RCWD. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg briefed the council on Lino Lakes. Mr. Nyberg met with David Arhens, Lino Lakes <br />City Engineer. Mr. Arhens was asked to give sanitary sewer service to Gerald Rehbein. Lino <br />Lakes City Council would allow a connection but not on 20th and Cedar. Lino Lakes would <br />consider a future hook up on 21 st and Cedar. Mr. Nyberg predicted Gerald would petition the <br />City to extend water down the potential 21 st Avenue, and from east to the west over to 20th <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />6 <br />
