<br />~ <br /> <br />Location of male is determined by using *69 on phone after a call is received from suspect. Male is taken <br />into custody and charged in court. Male is receiving treatment for his behavior. <br /> <br />A local juvenile enroute home from school assaults two other juveniles by attempting to start them on fire. <br />Juvenile is apprehended and confesses to crimes. Juvenile is found to have behavior problems at home <br />and in school. Juvenile receives proper counseling for his behavior. <br /> <br />Several youths steal a vehicle in Forest Lake and are located in vehicle by Lino Lakes PD. Youths flee <br />vehicle and hide in woods. Residents in area are notified via the crime watch phone chain. Youths are <br />located and flushed from hiding by a Blaine detective and myself. <br /> <br />Minneapolis Homicide Detectives request assistance in locating and apprehending a suspect, involved in a <br />fatal stabbing, residing in Lexington. Officers assist in apprehending accomplice and find that suspect <br />has fled state. Suspect later located out of state and brought back to Minneapolis for trial. <br /> <br />October <br /> <br />A Lexington lounge gets stung accepting numerous forged checks. Victim of checks identifies suspect <br />and a photo line up is complied. Employees of lounge are unable to identify suspect from line-up, case is <br />still being worked on for other probable cause. <br /> <br />A Circle Pines juvenile female runs away from home. Parents become quite concerned after finding <br />juvenile had been corresponding with male inmates at Stillwater prison. Metro police are notified and a <br />private detective is hired by the family. Juvenile female is located and reunited with family after <br />debriefing. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />November <br /> <br />A Circle Pines strip mall falls victim to burglary. Crime scenes are processed but. fail to produce any <br />evidence with the exception of car keys found left at one business. Keys are determined to belong to a <br />70's Mercedes vehicle. A metro wide teletype is sent requesting possible matches. Metro Mercedes <br />dealers are also contacted and requested to advise CPLPD when such vehicles are brought in for repair. <br />To date, keys have not found a match. Investigation continues. <br /> <br />A Lexington resident reports a major loss of property to her insurance company. Upon investigating <br />claim, the insurer determines entire claim to be false. Insurer requests fraud charges be filed. Case file is <br />being submitted to the Anoka County Attorney for review of charges. <br /> <br />December <br /> <br />A Lexington business clerk and customer are involved in an altercation involving the use of a gun. <br />Charges are filed against both. Ownership and origination of weapon are being researched by A TF. <br />Felony charges submitted to Anoka County have been denied. Federal charges are still pending. <br /> <br />A Circle Pines business falls victim to a major theft. Suspect is located and item stolen is returned. <br />Business requests criminal charges be dropped. <br /> <br />Several area juveniles and two adults enter a Centerville residence and remove property from the home. <br />Property is pawned and discarded. Suspects are located and confess to their involvement. Charges are <br />filed in Anoka juvenile and adult court. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />Staff at a Circle Pines school fall victim to terroristic threats. Suspect flees area but later turns himself in. <br />Suspect pleads guilty to charges in court and receives counseling. <br />
