<br />. <br /> <br />City council Meeting Minutes <br />July 26, 1989 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />foot wide sidewalk from Mill Road and County Road 14 to Progress <br />Road and north to Centerville Elementary school; the construction <br />of the Progress Road portion of the sidewalk contingent upon the <br />ci ty Engineer verifying the ci ty easement along Progress Road, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ci ty Engineer stewart noted it would take approximately 3 - 4 <br />days to research the easement along Progress Road. <br /> <br />Motion by Pel ton, second by Burgstahler to approve payment of <br />$4,972.66 to Bituminous Consulting and Contracting, per the <br />recommendation of the City Engineer, for 1989 street patch and <br />repair work, motion carried unanimously. A copy of the ci ty <br />Engineer's recommendation dated July 26, 1989 is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Mayor Haberman requested permission from Donald Opp, 7124 <br />Progress Road, to move his mail box back if the walkway went in. <br /> <br />Mr. Opp stated the postman has to get out of his car to deliver <br />the mail now, so it shouldn't hurt to move it back a little more. <br /> <br />Discussion of Donald Opp property split at County Road 14 and <br />vacated Clearwater Road. This property spli t was approved in <br />February 1989. Mr. Opp needs the City to sign and seal the <br />documents necessary to file at the County office. <br /> <br />In a letter dated July 12, 1989, John stewart, Maier, stewart & <br />Associates, indicated the legal descriptions for parcels A & B <br />corresponded to the exhibit Mr. Opp supplied to the City as the <br />parcels being recorded. A copy of the above letter is on file <br />with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />ci ty Engineer John stewart noted in future property spli ts, it <br />would be appropriate for the City Council to discuss easements to <br />Clearwater Creek as well as verify that proposed splits do not <br />leave unusable remnants of streets vested in the property owners <br />possession. <br /> <br />Mr. Opp's property split was approved in February, therefore <br />
