<br />Meeting Minutes - CC <br />November 20, 1989 <br />Page Eight <br /> <br />Centerville Heights. <br /> <br />A meeting was held this morning with the Developer, the developer's <br />Engineer, the Contractor, City Engineer, city staff and Council <br />representation. The meeting referenced a letter dated October 3, <br />1989 from Maier, stewart and Associates. A copy of this letter is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Item #1, Bituminous Correction and Repair, is estimated <br />to be completed June 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Item #2, Curb Settlement, is estimated to be completed <br />June 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Item #3, which includes several miscellaneous items, to <br />be specific a key valve just north of the intersection <br />of Houle CirCle and Peterson Trail, and valve and key <br />south of the intersection of prairie Drive and Peterson <br />Trail, will be completed by November 30, 1989. <br /> <br />Item #4, Seal Coat, to be completed June 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Item #5, Landscaping - trees and regrade of emergency <br />overflows, to be completed November 30, 1989. Seeding <br />is estimated to be completed June 1, 1990. <br /> <br />A verbal proposal from Ken Briggs,of the Harstad Companies would <br />be for the City to deduct the $11,000 due for escrow from the <br />current $19,000 which the city holds. The Harstad Companies would <br /> <br />exchange this for a letter of credit for the work remaining to be <br />completed. The Harstad Companies would like to complete the work <br />themselves versus having the City contract to do so . <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton that contingent upon the <br />Clerk/Administrator and the City Engineer determining the <br />appropriate dollar amount for escrow, this dollar amount will be <br />deducted from the current $19,000 which the City holds returning <br />the remaining monies in exchange for a letter of credit for <br />$26,100.00 to cover all improvements not completed to date for all <br />items under warranty; weeds on the property will be cut by <br />November 30, 1989; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Peterson that the current warranty bond <br />shall be extended until June 1, 1990 by Harstad Companies, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Hardwood Pond Estates I. <br /> <br />John stewart, City Engineer, advised that most of the punch list <br />
