<br />Meetin Minutes CC <br />October 25, 1989 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />II development fund), motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The letter from Maier, Stewart & Associates dated October 2, 1989 <br />is on file with the Clerk/Administrator <br /> <br />STORM DRAINAGE MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Peterson to direct City staff to <br />contact the Metropolitan Council and the Rice Creek Watershed <br />sending them a copy of the Maier, Stewart & Associates September <br />25, 1989 letter regarding the Storm Drainage Master Plan and <br />request feedback as to whether the Plan as proposed by Maier, <br />Stewart & Associates is appropriate as per Metropolitan Council <br />and Rice Creek Watershed recommendations, motion carried <br />llnanimously. <br /> <br />The City Engineer's letter regarding the Storm Drainage Master <br />Plan is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to table discussion of <br />the Comprehensive Plan until the November 8, 1989 City Council <br />meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7073 CENTERVILLE ROAD <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Neumann to approve issuance of a <br />draft for $250.00 payable to GAB Business Services Incorporated <br />for the settlement of claim of property damage at 7073 <br />Centerville Road, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PROPOSED FIRE ARMS ORDINANCE #5 <br /> <br />Discussion of Section 2, Individual Use #2. <br /> <br />Council member Peterson advised that two hundred feet may not be <br />a comfortable distance, and that five hundred feet would be more <br />acceptable, but even at that distance a property owner could <br />experience pellets raining on their home. He also advised that <br />most areas being developed, similar to Centerville, have shut <br />down shooting within their City limits altogether. Peterson <br />noted that he would like to see no outside gun ranges within the <br />City limits. <br /> <br />Council member Neumann agreed that the City Attorney's suggestion <br />regarding shooting within 500 feet of a residence was well taken. <br />He also noted that with regard to Section 9, Intimidation, <br />reference to corporations may be selective and should possibly <br />
