CC Meeting Minutes <br />September 13, 1989 <br />Page Four <br />were to fall, car doors opening), and for snow placement in the <br />winter. <br />No specifics were decided at this meeting. <br />Discussion of Cellular I Tower with regard to the concern that <br />there may be scaffolding on the tower that was not called for in <br />the original Special Use Permit agreement between the City and MCI. <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that they have discussed the <br />situation with Mr. B. Richard Waite, Project Manager for Ellerbe <br />who were the engineers involved in the original project <br />construction. Stewart advised that it is the opinion of Maier, <br />Stewart & Associates that the Cellular I Tower is supporting <br />antennae loadings only and that there is not any scaffolding left <br />behind originating from the construction phase. It was suggested <br />that the City take photographs of the Cellular I Tower as is. It <br />was noted by Mr. Waite of Ellerbe that what was located on the <br />Cellular I Tower located in Centerville was not inconsistent with <br />what was originally agreed upon. <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Peterson that no additions unless <br />approved by the City Council by special use permit will be allowed <br />on the current Cellular I Tower in Centerville and that Centerville <br />would appreciate that scaffolding type structure at the top of the <br />tower be painted to Snatch the tower; photographs will be taken of <br />the Cellular I Tower and copies sent with a letter to Cellular I <br />advising them of this City Council action, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Haberman reminded Stewart of possible "walkway" and "bus <br />loading zone" signing along Progress Road. <br />Council member Pelton suggested that the Public Works Director be <br />reminded to coordinate with the County regarding sidewalk snow <br />removal for the 1989 winter. <br />The property owner at 7167 Mill Road has advised that he would like <br />to widen the culvert at the end of his driveway and requests City <br />permission to do so. <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Peterson to give authority to the <br />Public Works Director to approve such culvert widenings or <br />extensions at the end of driveways until such time the City has set <br />a standard for said requests, motion carried unanimously. <br />It was noted that the Public Works Director will take into account <br />the drainage of the area with regard to other propert; i** . <br />
