Mr. Kieselhorst discussed the <br />schedule of events. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra questioned City Administrator Larson about the money budgeted for the <br />festival. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied about $20,000 was budgeted for the festival; however, <br />this amount did not include the parade. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that she would like the City Attorney to research several items on the <br />list presented by Mr. Kieselhorst prior to approving the request. <br /> <br />c. TeJl!POrary Gambling Permit (Raflle - 05/19/08 to 08-03/08 and Bingo from <br />08/01/08 to 08/03/08 <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst stated that the Lions Club is not sure bingo would be part ofthe event. <br />He stated a mud volleyball tournament might be considered. <br /> <br />d. Fete des Lacs Parade <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst commented a parade might not occur this year. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Consensus reached to ask City Administrator Larson to draft a letter from Council and <br />discuss a parade route with Mr. Doug Fischer, Anoka County. <br /> <br />vn. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Consider Agreement for Local Assessor Services with Mr. Kenneth To1zrnann. <br />SAMA (Tabled from Previously Meetings) <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser commented that he reviewed the insurance and contract and deemed <br />it appropriate. He recommended approval of the agreement. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Paar. to aDnrove <br />the Ae:reement for Local Assessor Services with Mr. Kenneth Tolzmann. SAMA as <br />presented and aDDroved bv the City Attornev. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />2. Engineer's Report on Hidden Soring Park <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz presented information regarding exploring a more substantial <br />shoreline restoration/stabilization technique than was originally proposed. He presented a <br />sketch and cost estimate for the revised approach to restore the shoreline at Hidden <br /> <br />Page 3 of6 <br />
