Detection and Enforcement Ordinance <br />Ordinance language currently exists that protects improper connections and discharges to the sanitary sewer <br />system. The City will investigate ordinance language by reviewing other communities existing illicit discharge and <br />connections ordinances. In particular, the city will focus on verbiage related to prohibiting discharges and <br />connections to the storm sewer system and penalties for non-compliance. <br />8MP 3-5: Nuisance OrdinancelIllegal Dumping <br />An ordinance prohibiting illegal dumping of trash or debris on public or private property is currently included in the <br />City Code of Ordinances.
