<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on December 12, <br />1990 at the City Hall. Mayor Haberman called the meeting to <br />order at 1:05 p.m. Present: Pelton, Burgstahler, Buckbee. <br />Absent: Neumann. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second <br />28, 1990 City Council <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />by Burgstahler to approve the November <br />meeting minutes, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Haberman to approve the October 24, <br />1990 City Council meeting minutes, Aye - Pelton; Aye - Haberman; <br />Aye - Burgstahler. Abstain - Buckbee, motion carried. <br /> <br />Council members requested that additional copies of the November <br />19, 1990 City Council meeting be placed in their next packet for <br />approval. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Flood Plain Reduction <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee to accept the plans and <br />specifications as prepared by Maier, Stewart and Associates <br />for the proposed Flood Plain Reduction Project with the <br />amendment that a water sleeve shall be placed under the <br />culvert on County Road 15; <br />the plans and specifications shall be sent to the Anoka County <br />Highway Department and the Rice Creek Watershed for comment, <br /> <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the plans and specifications is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Feasibility Study - DeFoe Townhouse Proiect <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, was present to discuss the <br />feasibility study for DeFoe Townhouse Development. City of <br />Centerville dated December 1990. <br /> <br />A copy of this feasibility study <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />is on <br /> <br />file with the <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to accept the preliminary <br />feasibility study for the DeFoe Townhouse Development dated <br />December 1990; that the City Engineer will work with City Staff <br />to arrange a meeting with the Centennial School District to <br />determine their interest in participating in a possible municipal <br />water project; no other proceedings shall take place with regard <br />to the proposed DeFoe Townhome Project until the meeting is <br />complete and further action is taken by the City Council. motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Haberman requested the dollar amount in the water fund for <br />review. <br />
