<br />city Council Meeting Minutes <br />october 10, 1990 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />commission and as consistent wi th the Centerville comprehensive <br />Plan for the proposed Golden Meadows Townhome Development. Motion <br />withdrawn. <br /> <br />Bill Svetin, 1687 Peltier Lake Drive, asked questions of the <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion by Haberman, second by Buckbee to approve the concept of the <br />preliminary plat of the proposed Golden Meadows Development <br />contingent upon the following: <br />-approval of a special use permit by the City Council under <br />which the following i teas will be taken into <br />consideration: <br />*parking and access to the proposed park land, <br />*a sketch plan of the park dedication area, <br />*resolution of the construction of the emergency <br />access (how will it be built, will it be <br />sodded, how will it be barriered off): <br />*submi ttal of a landscape plan to be reviewed by the <br />City Council; <br />*a copy of the Homeowners Association Agreement: <br />*clarification as to whether the units shall be <br />owner or rental occupied; <br />*submittal of blueprints and pictures of the <br />proposed project; <br />-that the developer shall not hold the City liable with regard <br />to the approval of the concept of the preliminary plat <br />should an acceptable, special use permit not be agreed <br />upon, and should the land scape plan submitted by the <br />developer not be acceptable; <br />-that an attorney escrow of $500.00 shall be submitted to the <br />city offices: <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by pelton, second by Neumann to direct the City staff to <br />work with the City Attorney to begin preparations on a special use <br />permit and a development agreement for the proposed Golden Meadows <br />development; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The city Council shall review Ordinance 14, Section 64 with regard <br />to special use permits and shall contact City staff regarding <br />additional items to be considered under the special use permit <br />prior to the october 24, 1990 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />John stewart, city Engineer, noted that if it were the desire of <br />the City Council, it would be appropriate to order plans and <br />specifications for the project at the October 24, 1990 City Council <br />meeting. This would be reviewed upon receipt of a petition from <br />Gerald and Gordon Rehbein for municipal improvements. <br />
