<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />october 10, 1990 <br />page 7 <br /> <br />-Charitable Gambling Request. The city staff shall draft a <br />city policy and contact various departments for a needs <br />list with regard to requests from Charitable Gambling <br />Organizations. <br />-Public Works Employee Injury. City staff is granted <br />authorization to advertise for a permanent part time <br />Public Works Employee. <br />-Tri City Business Association. As per the recommendation of <br />the centerville Economic Development Task Force the City <br />Council approves the membership of the City of <br />Centerville into the Tri City Business Association which <br />shall be named the Quad City Business Association. <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator noted that she received two complaints from <br />residents over the phone expressing their concern regarding the <br />proposed 1991 Police Service Contract from the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Both residents expressed concern regarding the cost of the proposed <br />contract and suggested considering the services of Anoka county for <br />the 1991 year. The residents issuing the complaints were Jerry <br />Peterson, 7080 Brian Drive, and Joe Moore, 7353 - 20th Avenue <br />North. <br /> <br />Micheal Chapeau, 7154 Shad Avenue, inquired as to when the proposed <br />reassessment of non-petitioners would again be addressed by the <br />city council. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator advised that the financial information was <br />not available for the October 10, 1990 City Council meeting and <br />that two City Council members would be absent from the October 24, <br />1990 City Council meeting, thus the next appropriate meeting to <br />discuss the issue would be November 14, 1990. <br /> <br />Payment of Claims <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Pelton to <br />of claims of the Centennial Fire <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />approve the current payment <br />District, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Pelton to approve the current payment <br />of claims of the City of Centerville, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Buckbee to adjourn the meeting, motion <br />carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />
