<br />City Council Meeting Minutes of November 8, 1995 <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to direct staff to collect an escrow of <br />$5,000.00 for consultant and engineering fees from companies that appear to be serious <br />about building in Centerville. And to table the Tax Increment Policy. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />POST OFFICE SITE APPROVAL <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers-Rasmussen to direct the Mayor to sign the <br />proposed post office site for Hugo. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />LASER LEVEL <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to approve the purchase of the Topcon RL- <br />50B laser level for the total amount of$l,367.00 plus tax. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Powers-Rasmussen to recommend that Planning and <br />Zoning consider a fee of $75.00 per lot, to be paid with the building permit in amending <br />ordinance 8. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DELINQUENT UTILITY RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to adopt Resolution 95-23 certifying <br />delinquent sewer utility billing to the County. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to adopt Resolution 95-24 certifying delinquent <br />garbage billings to the County. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to adopt Resolution 95-25 certifying <br />delinquent water utility billing to the County. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />EBB <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee explained the differences between the Assistant City Clerk <br />position and the City Clerk position. The City Clerk would be responsible for signing of <br />all documents and preparation of city council packets and agendas, attest to the Mayor's <br />signature, signer for legal documents, and elections - which was one of the responsibilities <br />of the Assistant City Clerk. <br /> <br />MOTION by Wilharber, second by Powers-Rasmussen to approve the job description for <br />the City Clerk position. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Wilharber, second by Powers-Rasmussen to eliminate the position of <br />Assistant City Clerk.
