<br />City Council Meeting Minutes of November 21, 1995 <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber asked if the water supply needed to be looped for the school? Dave <br />Nyberg, MSA, replied that if it was just for water supply - no. If they need it for fire <br />protection - yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht agrees that using one bigger water tower versus 2 smaller <br />ones would be better. <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee stated the TIF policy gives procedures and that companies have <br />to prove that they cannot build without TIF in order to get it. <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee rescinded her previous motion. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee second by Brenner to adopt the TIF Policy prepared by Ehlers and <br />Associates amending procedures step 5 to read: a non-refundable fee of $100.00 .... and <br />step 7 to read: At this time a deposit of $5,000 in escrow shall be required.... Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ACORN CREEK SECOND ADDmON PAY ESTIMATE <br /> <br />Dave Nyberg stated that although this states this is partial pay estimate #6 it is the first pay <br />estimate for Acorn Creek Second Addition. He added that the street curb and gutter work <br />is left to do and that all the pipe has been laid. <br /> <br />MOTION by Brenner, second by Helmbrecht to approve Partial Pay Estimate No.6 in the <br />amount of $23,990.80. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />JUVENILE ORDINANCE <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Brenner to adopt Ordinance 3-B, an ordinance <br />establishing a curfew in the City ofCenterville, and repealing Ordinance 3-A relating to <br />the same subject. Motion carried, Powers-Rasmussen - Nay. <br /> <br />CABLE COMMISSION - MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />MOTION by Powers-Rasmussen, second by Buckbee to approve the revised <br />Memorandum of Understanding between North Central Suburban Cable Communications <br />Commission and the commission cities. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SENIOR HOUSING <br /> <br />MOTION by Brenner, second by Powers-Rasmussen to direct staff to prepare a resolution <br />indicating Centerville's interest for senior housing and authorizing a market survey. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />CCII-21M.WPS <br /> <br />4 <br />
