Building Inspection - Renegotiation of Fees. <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES: <br /> <br />Walter Neumann Centerville Police Liaison to Circle <br />Pines/LexinQton Police Department. <br />Walter Neumann, Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department Liaison, <br />appeared before the City Council to provide an update regarding <br />the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Commission activities. Mr. <br />Neumann noted the Police Commission does not want to serve as a <br />voting member on the Tri-City Police Task Force. However, they <br />would like to serve in an advisory position. <br /> <br />Mr. Neumann also explained that the 1994 Centerville Police <br />Budget will remain at the 4% increase. Due to resignation of <br />Officer Dan Block the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department <br />will be rearranging current staff with no loss of services to the <br />City of Centerville. Mr. Neumann also noted the DARE contract <br />has been approved for 1994. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee expressed concern regarding the lack of a bicycle <br />rodeo in 1993. Mayor BUCkbee expressed the bicycle rodeo is good <br />pUblic relations for the Police Department and the City of <br />Centerville. Mayor Buckbee inquired whether the Circle <br />Pines/Lexington Police Department will be holding a bicycle rodeo <br />for 1994. <br /> <br />Council member Dario thanked Mr. <br />noted that the City Council <br />dedicates with regard to the <br />Department. <br /> <br />Neumann for his service, and <br />does appreciate all the time he <br />Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />
