Ms. Kieselhorst
expressed concern regarding a letter dated October 1, 1993
regarding the installation of their sump pump. Ms. Kieslhorst's
concern appeared to be that the Ordinance does not state that on
October 1, 1993 the surcharge of $75.00 will be charged for not
being in compliance. Ms. Kieselhorst appeared to feel that the
surcharge would be charged as of January 1, 1994. Ms.
Kieselhorst stated that they do not want to disconnect their sump
pump from the sanitary sewer system because their back yard is
constantly wet and this would only compound the problem, but will
if they are continued to be charged.

Greg Kieselhorst, 7155 Brian Drive, was present. Mr. Kieselhorst
stated they appeared before the City Council approximately four
years ago about their wet back yard. Mr. Kieselhorst noted the
City did come out, but only addressed the drainage on the
opposite side of Brian Drive.

Paul Thell, 7163 Brian Drive, was present. Mr. Thell noted that
he is a neighbor of the Kieselhorsts' and the rear yards are
graded lower. Mr. Thell noted the City did come out and knock
down weeds in the rear yard area, and left them there. Mr. Thell
stated that he wanted to bring in fill for his back yard, but the
City sent him a letter requesting him to cease bringing in fill.

Council member Dario noted the subcommittee will be reviewing the
drainage areas within the City of Centerville, but the first step
is to stop the discharge of clear water into the sanitary sewer
system.

Kevin Stewart, 1995 North Robin Lane, was present. Mr. Stewart
noted he was out of town when the Public Works Department came to
inspect his home. Mr. Stewart found a note on his door. Mr.
Stewart stated that in the City Newsletter it said that residents
would be notified when their property was to be inspected.

Clerk/Administrator Tamara Miltz-Miller noted
mailed on September 7, 1993 regarding a
inspection for sump pump installations.

that a letter was
tentative order of

Roger Mateer, 1976 Cardinal Drive, was present.
