It appeared to further be
his suggestion that the City set a deadline for the completion of
Old Mill Road. He appeared to be of the opinion that the longer
the deadline, the poorer quality of the blacktop (due to the
weather).

Council member Brenner
the City does not give
reconsider the issue.
1993.

appeared to strongly agree, noting that if
a definite deadline, it forces the City to
She suggested a deadline of October 29,

Motion by Brenner, second
Rehbein, Inc. to proceed

by Helmbrecht to grant permission to
with the extension of municipal sewer

and water contingent upon:
- Mill Road must be passable to emergency vehicles every
evening;
- a strict deadline of October 29, 1993 is given to Rehbein,
Inc. to either complete Old Mill Road with one lift of
bituminous or have the original Mill Road replaced with
a bituminous surface for the winter;
aye: Brenner, Helmbrecht, Wilharber; nay: Dario, motion carried.

It appeared to be the consensus of the City Council that the
Contractor will be in daily contact with the City to advise as to
the status of Mill Road (open/close, passable, etc.).

MSA will be sending new letters to Mill Road residents updating
them on the status of the closing of Mill Road.

Mr. Rehbein requested that the City Council consider authorizing
an amendment to the grading plan approved on May 27, 1993. He
has submitted a preliminary plat for the north half of the
development. The new preliminary plat shows an extension of park
land in the northeast corner of the development. This park is
not indicated on the May 27, 1993 grading plan. The extension of
park land could alter the direction of the drainage from south to
east.
