<br />Special Meeting Minutes - CC <br />September 28, 1993 <br />page three <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Dario to approve: <br />the following job descriptions and comparable worth point <br />ranges as proposed by the Employee Review Board: <br />- Public Works Director, Point Range 225-247; <br />- Public Works Employee, Point Range 157-166; <br />- Clerk/Administrator, Point Range 300-315; <br />- Deputy Clerk, Point Range 185-195; <br />- AssistAn~ Deputy Clerk, Point Range 137-150; <br />the following individual point assignments: <br />- Orville Hughes, 211; <br />- Dale Larson, 166; <br />- Robert Barron, 157; <br />- Tamara Miltz-Miller, 304; <br />- Mavis Solheid, 190; <br />- Mona Espe, 140; <br />- Mona Espe and Robert Barron shall be redesignated from <br />part time temporary to part time permanent; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the approved job descriptions are on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion by Brenner, second by Helmbrecht. to approve: <br />- the following job description and comparable worth point <br />range as proposed by the Employee Review Board: <br />- Assistant City Clerk, Point Range 207-219; <br />- the following point assignments: <br />-Sanna Buckbee, 210; <br />aye: Dario, Helmbrecht, Wilharber, Brenner; abstain: Buckbee, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed retroactive point assignment. It was <br />the recommendation of the Employee Review Board that new point <br />assignments would become effective October 1, 1993. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator recommended making the pointe retroact.ive <br />t.o September 1, 1993. Juetification would be that the <br />Administrative staff were probably performing moet of the job <br />dutiee since April. The City did not officially meet with the <br />employees to discuss the changes until August. All <br />Administrative employees appeared to be working effectively with <br />the requested changes as of September 1, 1993. The <br />Clerk/Administrator was under the impression that the City had <br />asked a lot of itJs employees to pull together as a team to make <br />the transition to a part time Clerk/Administrator successful. <br />Staff has effectively completed the goal as of September 1, 1993 <br />and she felt it would be fair to compensate them as of that date. <br /> <br />It was pointed out that by going to the part tbne <br />
