Ms. Miltz-Mille~ noted that in Cente~ville, <br />eve~ybody has a wate~ p~oblem. Ms. Miltz-Mille~ stated she would <br />like the City Council to be p~o-active ve~sus ~eactive to <br />d~ainage p~oblems. <br /> <br />Council membe~ Da~io suggested taking a ha~d look at the sto~m <br />d~ainage fund fees. Council membe~ Da~io noted that it appea~s <br />d~ainage p~oblems a~e becoming mo~e and more common. <br /> <br />Ms. Miltz-Miller suggested surveying residents th~ough the City <br />Newslette~ regarding d~ainage problems and asking them on how <br />they would like to see the projects funded. <br /> <br />G~eg Stonehouse noted that the a~ea could be surveyed and options <br />could be investigated to dete~mine a solution. Mr. Stonehouse <br />noted this investigation is estimated to cost app~oximately <br />$2,000.00, howeve~, the cost to investigate without su~veying <br />would be approximately $750.00. <br /> <br />Ms. Miltz-Miller noted p~ope~ty owne~s in <br />petitioned for a culvert, but have paid for <br />culve~t themselves. Ms. Miltz-Miller noted <br />p~ope~ty owne~s could petition fo~ the project. <br /> <br />the past have <br />the cost of the <br />the Royal Meadows <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber that prior to incurring <br />any cost for the co~rection of the drainage area located between <br />Ca~dinal Drive and North Robin Lane within the Royal Meadows <br />development: <br />that City staff work with two City Council members, the <br />Public Works Director, City Engineer and Building <br />Inspector to come up with a plan to outline the <br />drainage easements and give a recommendation with <br />regard to priority and correction within the entire <br />City; <br />the time frame for the layout of a plan is by the end <br />of October 1993; <br />Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, will be asked to <br />be involved, but due to other commitments it is <br />realized he may not be able to attend night meetings, <br />but will be kept updated with notes from the meetings; <br />for a cost not to exceed $300.00 for outside services, <br />motion ca~ried unanimously. <br /> <br />Anoka County Road 14 Overlay Project - Plan Approval. <br />G~eg Stonehouse, City Engineer, was present.
