Approval of Request to Metropolitan Council for Chan e.~ in Population Forecast <br />City Engineer Statz explained that a higher density is projected than forecasted by the <br />Metropolitan Council. He stated this needs to be reported prior to submitting the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Broussard-Vickers, <br />to Approve the Request to Metropolitan Council for Change in Population Forecast. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />5. Council Business Cards <br />a. Sample Business Cards from City of Lexin t.~ on/City of Centerville <br />Councilmember Lakso provided examples of business cards/templates for consideration <br />by the Council members. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Consensus reached to print business cards for Council members who want them. <br />6. Public Works Open House <br />Councilmember Lakso stated she would like to see the Public Works department hold an <br />open house to begin community outreach and show the residents what their tax dollars <br />were spent on. <br />Councilmember Lakso will work with staff to plan this event. <br />7. Red Cross Preparedness Expenses <br />Councilmember Lakso reported Red Cross would be at the Eagle Brook Church on <br />February 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. to present a preparedness seminar. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lee, <br />to Approve expenditures for the Red Cross seminar, not to exceed $40.
