<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 26, 1987 <br />Page Five <br /> <br />contract for Centerville Heights include a provision to have the <br />dedicated park land graded, seeded, and grass cut, motion carried <br />unanimously_ <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to adapt a Resolution to <br />accept the Project Engineer's Certificate of Approval for the <br />1987 Seal Coating Project, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The Project Engineer's Certificate of Approval is on file with <br />the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Discussion of the 1988 proposed fee schedule. Maureen Asleson, <br />7232 Mill Road and Pat Schweiger, 1708 Center Street requested <br />that minutes to the meetings be made available free of charge to <br />residents who request them. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska that there will be no charge <br />for current City Council minutes if requested within 30 days of <br />the date of the meeting; that these minutes will not be released <br />until official approval of said minutes by the City Council, thus <br />making the minutes a legal record, aye: Fritchie, L'Allier, <br />Laska, nay: Wilharber, Neumann, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann to approve the fee schedule as amended for <br />January 1988. Motion withdrawn. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to approve the proposed <br />fee schedule effective January 1988, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The proposed fee schedule is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann to not invest additional <br />monies in the tennis courts at the present site per the Park and <br />Recreation Committee recommendation, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Laska noted for future reference in case the <br />tennis court were taken down, that two sides of the tennis court <br />are school property. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie to implement a fine of $25.00 to persons found <br />to be noncompliant to Ordinance #41 by holding a tournament <br />without a permit, per Park and Recreation Committee <br />recommendation. Motion withdrawn. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to recommend that the <br />City Attorney look at the legality of implementing a $25.00 fine <br />for violation to Ordinance #41, motion carried unanimously. <br />
