<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />AUgtlst 26, 1987 <br />Page Six <br /> <br />Council member Fritchie updated the Council on the Metropolitan <br />Task Force, which will now be referred to as CORONA. She advised <br />that one of the goals of CORONA is to try to obtain more control <br />of land use to the Cities. Another representative is needed, <br />either a Council member or other City resident. <br /> <br />Council member Fritchie noted that a task force to work with <br />Roger Jenson of the Anoka County Economic Development Partnership <br />Program may be beneficial to the City. This will be put on hold <br />for now. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber <br />Department to investigate the odor at <br />per the recommendation of Orville Hughes, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />to contact the Health <br />1540 Peltier Lake Drive, <br />Public Works Director, <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to table discussion of <br />the feasibility of increasing City Hall hours until after the <br />next budget meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to table appointing a Solid <br />Waste Control Representative, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Fritchie to table discussion of <br />stipends for extra meetings approved by the City Council and <br />mileage to these meeting until the next budget meeting, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to refer the letter from <br />Maier, Stewart and Associates regarding the cost and timing of <br />updating City maps to the Planning and Zoning Commission; if they <br />are in concurrence with updating the maps, they are to go ahead <br />as allowed in their budget, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to direct the Clerk and <br />Building Inspector to work on the wordage for a resolution and <br />permits for heating and plumbing permits to be presented at next <br />meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Clerk advised that the owners of Kelly's Bar would like to sell <br />the bar and transfer title of current liquor license. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to transfer title of the <br />current liquor license for Kelly's Bar from the current owner to <br />the proposed owner, pending criminal and financial investigation <br />of the proposed new owner by the Lino Lakes Police Department, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Wilharber to adapt a Resolution to <br />
