<br />CC Meeting Minutes <br />Page Two <br />June 10, 1987 <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second <br />water in the Centerville <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />by Fritchie to not include municipal <br />Heights project, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Neumann to accept the feasibility <br />study for Sanitary Sewer, Municipal Water, Storm Drainage, and <br />Street Construction for Centerville Heights, excluding municipal <br />water, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Discussion of park dedication. The three recommendations from <br />the Park and Recreation Committee are as follows in order of <br />preference: <br />1. A neighborhood park in the southeast corner east of Shad <br />Avenue. The area to be 300' X 300'; plus a striped <br />bikeway; plus 1/3 park dedication fee; plus a 10 foot <br />trail easement between lots 15 and 16, block 3. <br />2. A neighborhood park 300' X 300' adjacent to the City <br />property on lot 4 off Mill Road; plus a striped bikeway; <br />plus 1/3 park dedication fee. <br />3. Have the developer purchase land off sight; plus a <br />striped bikeway; plus 1/3 park dedication fee. <br /> <br />Brad Gulsvig, 7246 Mill Road advised that no monetary agreement <br />has been made with regard to his purchasing land from Harstad <br />behind his home. He said that it would be acceptable to increase <br />the easement on the lot behind his property to 20 feet, versus 10 <br />feet. <br /> <br />Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road noted that the Council <br />should be careful not to short change themselves with regard to <br />the dollar amount for park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to accept 2.6 acres in <br />the southeast corner east of Shad Avenue for a neighborhood park, <br />leaving 1 acre for park dedication fees, which is to be <br />determined by the fair market value or $150.00 per lot at a <br />formula of: 93 lots multiplied by $150.00 multiplied by 1/3, <br />which ever is greater, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Neumann to accept the preliminary <br />plat contingent on: <br />-approval by the Rice Creek Watershed, <br />-park dedication as described in previous motion, <br />-increase the side yard setback of lot 1, block 1 to 20 <br />feet, <br />-10 foot easement between lots 15 and 16, block 3 for use <br />for pathway, <br />-that the proposed section of Fox Lane that is east of Shad <br />Avenue will be a dedicated street, but will not be paved, <br />-that a variance be granted to allow a 60 foot culdesac <br />
