<br />City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />Page Three <br />May 27, 1987 <br /> <br />which will <br />unaniously. <br /> <br />refect the <br /> <br />new street <br /> <br />names, motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Fritchie to direct the following <br />issues to the City Attorney for his consideration in the <br />development contract with Kenco Construction for Center Oaks II, <br />the issues are to be included, but not limited to: <br />1. Site grading will be accomplished by the contractor over <br />and above the plans and specifications prepared by <br />Maier, Stewart and Associates, Inc.; <br />2. Kenco Construction will retain maintenance <br />responsibility for outlot A. Said responsibility <br />includes, but is not limited to grass and weed control, <br />litter and nuisance cleanup, and safety concerns; <br />3. Street lights will be installed as directed in Ordinance <br />n 8; <br />4. Trees will be planted in the boulevard of each lot as <br />directed in Ordinance # 8. The trees will be 1 1/2 to <br />2 inches in diameter and a minimum of 5 feet in height. <br />The variety of trees the City Council would approve for <br />planting are: Maple, Linden, Locust, Green Ash, <br />Hackberry. The mixture and planting location to be <br />determined by the State Forester; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will send a copy of the two above motions to Kenco <br />Construction. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Fritchie to extend the deadline of <br />May 27, 1987, set at the May 13, 1987 City Council meeting for <br />Renco Construction to complete their contingencies for final plat <br />approval another two weeks, to end June 10, 1987, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to name the streets in Center <br />Oaks II Ivy Court, Sumac Circle and Dupre Road, per the <br />recommendation of the the Street Naming Committee, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of a plat showing the location of the above names is on <br />file with the City Clerk. Clerk will write a letter to the <br />members of the Street Naming Committee to thank them for their <br />work. <br /> <br />City Engineer presented a brief feasibility letter of the <br />improvement of Sorel Street. That letter is on file with the <br />City Clerk. The cost of the project is expected to cost <br />$32,000.00. Clerk will ask the City Attorney about the <br />
