<br />City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />Page Four <br />May 27, 1987 <br /> <br />feasibility of vacating all or a portion of the section of Sorel <br />Street proposed for improvement, and have Kevin Mullins put in a <br />private driveway for which he would accept the responsibility of <br />maintenance. <br /> <br />Discussion of clarification of May 13, 1987 motion by Fritchie to <br />require that Gerry Parent of Parent Construction deposit <br />$10,000.00 in cash, to be held in escrow, to the City of <br />Centerville before the City Engineers begin plans and <br />specifications for the L'Allier Estates II project. Mr. Parent <br />is under the impression that a letter of credit is acceptable. <br /> <br />Meeting recessed at 8:40 p.m. to try to locate Mr. Parent and in <br />hopes that Council member Robischon will arrive at the meeting <br />shortly. <br /> <br />Meeting resumed 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to give permission to Maier, <br />Stewart and Associates, Inc., to sign as City Engineer as a <br />representative of the City of Centerville for the Notice of Award <br />for the road reconstruction project and the seal coating project, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to have Lake Sanitation <br />reserve the last Saturday in April as Spring Cleanup Day for the <br />City of Centerville for the length of the contract, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to adopt Resolution #87-11 to <br />amend the Resolution regulating the authorization of issuance of <br />temporary nonintoxicating malt liquor licenses, #9 from: <br />9. The number of permits issued for 1983 will not exceed <br />the number six (6); <br /> <br />to: <br /> <br />9. The number of permits issued per year will not exceed <br />the number six (6); <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to increase the cost for an <br />assessment search for use for an outside agency, such as a tile <br />company, from $5.00 to $6.00; and that all such assessment search <br />requests be in written form, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was agreed that there would be no charge for notary services <br />from the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to table the issue of <br />staggering terms for the Planning and Zoning Commission members, <br />
