<br />City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />Page Five <br />May 27, 1987 <br /> <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to request from each the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission and the Park and Recreation <br />Committee, two ideas to be put on an agenda for a joint meeting <br />of the Council, Commission, and Committee members; also will be <br />requested suggested dates of such a meeting which would be held <br />the end of June; the date of the Council, Commission, and <br />Committee meeting is to be set June 10, 1987; the meeting will be <br />advertised in the Quad Press, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will advise Orville Hughes, Public Works Director to move <br />the notice case to the City Hall side of the building. <br /> <br />Review Board will meet with City Clerk at 6:45 p.m. in the City <br />Hall Office to discuss her 90 day review. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to adopt Resolution #87- <br />10 providing for the issuance and sale of $615,000.00 general <br />obligation improvement bonds of 1987 for the road reconstruction <br />project, aye: Fritchie, Robischon, L'Allier; nay: Laska, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to direct City Clerk to <br />notify Gerry Parent of Parent Construction to advise him of the <br />Council decision to not rescind the May 13, 1987 motion in <br />question and that he will need to provide $10,000.00 in cash to <br />be placed in escrow to start the Plans and Specifications of <br />L'Allier Estates II, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council member Fritchie advised <br />Peltier Lake Drive appears to be <br />request that Gunnar Pettersen, <br />property to investigate. <br /> <br />Council that the garage on 1559 <br />on City property. Clerk will <br />Building Inspector go to that <br /> <br />Appearance of Carol Pelton, Park and Recreation Chairperson to <br />request the Council reverse the May 13, 1987 decision to accept <br />park dedication fees in lieu of park land in the L'Allier Estates <br />, II development. She also requests that the Council restrict the <br />removal of vegetation along the creek and the use of chemicals on <br />the properties of the homeowners. <br /> <br />Council members advised that the park land plan for L'Allier <br />Estates II, as previously stated was not acceptable. They <br />questioned why only one plan were presented. Per Ms. Pelton, it <br />is not policy to submit more than one plan, and that the City is <br />mandated to amend the comprehensive plan if they do not follow <br />it, with regard to the proposed park trails. <br />
