<br /> <br />Page four - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 8, 1987 <br /> <br />Meeting resumed 10:55 P,M. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to appoint Council <br />member Walter Neuman as a representative to be on the Planning <br />Commission for the Centennial Fire District for one calender <br />year, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to table the decision <br />of a contribution to the Northern Surburban Consumer Advocates <br />for the Handicapped until the April 22, 1987 City Council meeting, <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Robischon to approve the Planning <br />& Zoning Commission recommendations for the amendment of Ordinance <br />#4, Motion carried unanimously. Amendments to Ordinance #4 are <br />attached to & made part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie to agree to work with <br />developers requesting R-2A rezoning & preliminary plats, simult- <br />aneously with incorporating R-2A zoning into the City Ordinances, <br />if the developers agree to sign a form71etter drafted by William <br />Hawkins, City Attorney, releasing the City of Centerville of any <br />liability, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to submit the Comprehen- <br />sive Sewer Plan Amendment presented by Maier Stewart & Associates <br />to the Metropolitan Council for review, per Planning & Zoning <br />Commission recommendation, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Engineer advised that it would be )0-90 days to get this <br />back from the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Neumann that the City Council <br />require the City Engineers do a feasibility study on the Parent <br />Construction Project of L'Allier Estates II and any other future <br />planned unit development projects, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Laska to require a letter of credit <br />in the amount of $2500.00 from the Gerry Parent Construction <br />Project of L'Allier Estates II and- any other future <br />development projects to cover the costs of feasibility studies, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Dick Wedell of Harstad questioned need for feasibility studies. <br />City Engineer advised that he felt it was necessary for the long <br />range determination of city growth. <br />
