Pushing back dates limits time to work <br />and reduces interest by contractors - per engineer. <br />It will cost approximately $18,000 - $20,000 to do the <br />plans and specifications for the total project. <br /> <br />A general pole of the council was taken to determine the <br />consensus of doing the roads in 1987 or 1988. Councilmembers <br />Fritchie and Robischon preferred to do the roads in 1987. <br />Councilmembers Neumann, L'Allier and Laska preferred <br />to wait until 1988 in order to gather more information. <br /> <br />Members of the audience expressed their opinions in favor <br />of ordering the plans and specifications and not waiting <br />until 1988 to construct the roads. <br /> <br />Art Mohler, 1756 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Des Englund, 7081 Brian Drive <br />Wayne LeBlanc, 1677 Peltier Lake Drive <br />Ed Albrecht, 1729 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road, questioned the need <br />for plans and specifications if the project would not go <br />forward. <br /> <br />Engineer Stewart stated the plans and specifications would <br />be ,good in 1988 with a couple thousand dollars worth of <br />updating. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon to proceed with <br />the plans and specifications for the reconstruction of <br />Peltier Lake Drive, Center Street, Tourville Circle, <br />Shad Avenue, Mill Road and Centerville Road, aye - Fritchie <br />Neumann, Robischon, Nay - Laska, L'Allier, motion carried. <br /> <br />Appearance of Dean Luxenburg, owner of Tract A - registered <br />land survey no. 65 on Peltier Lake Drive. Mr. Luxenburg <br />is requesting permission to haul in fill to stockpile for <br />the construction of his home before the road restrictions <br />become effective. Motion by Neumann, second by Fritchie <br />to allow Mr. Luxenburg to stock pile fill as specified in <br />his fill permit contingent on the completion of his fill <br />permit, contingent on receipt of a permit from the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District, and contingent on the fact that <br />Mr. Luxenburg relocate the dirt within his property <br />outside the flood plain should the above mentioned permits <br />be denied, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will get an amount for Mr. Luxenburg's letter of <br />credi t from the Ci ty Engineers... <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Laska to appoint Jane Apland <br />as new City Clerk/Treasurer, motion carried unanimously. <br />Ms. Apland will begin at a starting rate of $6.50 per hour. <br />
