Leon L'Allier made a motion to check <br />into the matter further, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />The matter of a flag pole for the City was discussed. Fran <br />Burque was asked to inquire of the Lions Club if they would be <br />willing to purchase same. <br /> <br />The notice of judgment on the LaBossiere vs. The City of <br />Centerville was read. <br /> <br />Council was advised of the informational meeting on Wednesday, <br />April 21 at the Centerville School on the matter of the application <br />by Minnesota Power and Light Company for a construction permit for <br />a high voltage transmission line and associated facilities. <br /> <br />Mayor read portions of correspondence from Walter Mondale <br />on the bicentennial commission, thank you letter from Howard <br />Neisen on this year's legislative session, information letter <br />on United Nations Day, October 24, 1976, and Arbor Day informa- <br />tion letter. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the proposed sewer for Centerville. <br /> <br />Clerk read the following checks to be paid: #2548 - #2585. <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to pay same, Fran Burque seconded it, <br />motion carried. Deposits of $3,885.78 were made during month <br />leaving a balance of $7,047.35 in general fund. <br /> <br />Elmer Murray made a motion to adjourn, Leon seconded it, <br />motion carried.
