City Council meeting <br />minutes - May 10, 1978 <br />page two <br />Resolution was then presented vacating the "old" Mound Trail <br />lying west of the center line of Anoka County State Aid Highway <br />No. 14 located within Lots 7, 14, 15 and 16, Auditor's Sub- <br />division No. 46 Revised, Anoka County, Minnesota and the City <br />retaining a 201 easement for sanitary sewer purposes, the <br />perpetual right of ingress and egress on said easement and <br />reserving a scenic easement to enhance and restrict said <br />property in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter <br />prescribed. John Peterson made a motion to adopt said Resolution, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. Copy of Resolution <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Public Hearing <br />was adjourned. <br />Mayor Prachar opened the public hearing on the preliminary plat <br />presentation of LeRoux Addition. Mr. Ho ium of N. C. Ho ium and <br />Associates presented plat of LeRoux Addition. Fran Burque <br />made a motion to approve the preliminary plat of LeRoux Addition, <br />John Peterson seconded it, motion carried. <br />Petition was presented to council by Valerie Carpenter, 7235 <br />Mill Road as follows: "We, the undersigned property owners, <br />request the City of Centerville, Minnesota to start the road <br />improvement project #1-78 immediately as presented at the Town <br />Council meeting on A ril 26, 1978. The cost per front footage <br />to be nine dollars ( 9.00) and completed in the year 1978. We <br />would also like the Town Council to consider extending the road <br />project to include the north end of Mill Road if it would not <br />increase the cost per frontage foot to the property owners of <br />Centerville. It is requested that the cost of the project be <br />assessed to the benefiting owners pursuant to Minne-so to Statute <br />#429. The petition was signed by 59 property owners and one <br />signature for the St. Genevieve' s Church property. After much <br />discussion, Elmer Murray made a motion for the clerk to ascertain <br />the validity of the petition, Fran Burque seconded, the roll was <br />as follows: Burque, aye; L' Allier, aye; Murray, aye; Peterson, <br />nay; and Prachar, , aye, motion carried, Elmer Murray made a motion <br />to hold a special meeting of the City Council on Wednesday, <br />May 17 , 1978 in the City Hall at 6:45 pm to check the validity <br />of the petition and to determine ordering a public hearing on <br />same, Fran Burque seconded, John Peterson, nay ; , motion carried. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to pay bills from checks #3376-3406, <br />Elmer Murray seconded it, motion carried. <br />Leon L' Allier made a motion to adjourn meeting, .Amer Murray <br />seconded i t , motion carried.
