<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Allg1J.St 28, 1991 <br />page two <br /> <br />The letter further outlined <br />alternative. <br /> <br />t.lle pros <br /> <br />and cons of each <br /> <br />Mr. Stewart advised that it is his recommendation that the City <br />select option #2 locating the sidewalk on the east side of the <br />eastern curb on Progress Road and widening the street westward. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator noted that the striping for a walking <br />path has been completed for the 1991-1992 school year. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Buckbee that in <br />School District not currently having funds for the <br />City Council shall postponed consideration of <br />project until 1992, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />light of the <br />project., t.he <br />t,}lis sidewalk <br /> <br />Water Easement Through L'Allier Estates II <br />The Clerk/Administrator noted that the owner of Lot 14, Block 1 <br />L'Allier Estates II is not interested in selling the lot or an <br />easement for water connection to the west side of Clear Water <br />Creek. The owner of Lot 7, Block 1 L'Allier Estates II is not <br />interested in selling an easement for the water connection, but <br />would be interested in the selling the lot for $32,000 if no <br />realtor is involved and $34,000 if a realtor is involved. <br /> <br />It is noted that there is a 15 foot drainage easement which is on <br />the abutting lot line of Lots 6 and 7, Block 1 L'Allier Estates <br />I I . <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that an underground storm <br />sewer is currently located within this 15 foot drainage easement. <br />He noted that the storm sewer is approximately 3 feet underground <br />and that a water main would be approximately 7 feet underground. <br />He advised that the storm sewer would not have to be removed to <br />install the municipal water pipe. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct City Staff to <br />inquire of the property owners of Lots 6 and 7, Block 1 L'Allier <br />Estates II their willingness to work with the City for easements <br />for the extension of municipal water, a pathway and/or a park <br />area, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Tower/Well Munici9al Facilitv Site <br />It was noted that Council members Wilharber and Daria met with <br />District Fire Chief Milo Bennett and Station Chief Art Mohler on <br />August 20, 1991. They discussed the Fire Department requirements <br />for response times, living areas, traffic patterns and walked the <br />sites. It appeared that after discussions that the first choice <br />of the Fire Department would be the Almendinger property on Main <br />
