Motion by Pelton, second 1835 Prairie Drive, as the motion carried unanimously. by Buckbee to appoint Randy Hagerty, Centerville Recycling Coordinator, Council members were reminded to keep the garbage and recycling information in this packet for the September 25, 1991 meeting. Peddlers/Transient Sales Ordinance The City Council discussed the possibility that the proposed Ordinance may be to cumbersome and restrictive. Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to direct City Staff to re-draft the proposed Peddlers/Transient Sales Ordinance to be somewhat less restrictive; To include language which would include schools, athletic, academic and public purposes; To take out the Conditional Use Permit section; To include a date of occupancy on the five last permit addresses; motion carried unanimously. Anoka County Corrections Community Service Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to authorize the City to work with the Anoka County Corrections to utilize the Community Service Program, motion carried unanimously. It was suggested that Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, Dale Larson, Public Works Employee, Tamara Miltz-Miller, Clerk/Administrator, and the City Council submit specific tasks to keep in an active file for such community service. Police Survey Cheryl Ann Steele, 6926 Sumac Court, Tom Opitz, 6923 Sumac Court, both appeared to agree that the Circle Pines/Lexington Police Department is doing an excellent job and visibility has been increased since service with the City of Lino Lakes. Council member Burgstahler will assist the Clerk/Administrator in re-drafting a possible police survey to be reviewed in September.
