<br />I~ <br /> <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 28J 1991 <br />page four <br /> <br /> <br />Lake Sanitation <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Dario to table discussion of the <br />1990 abatement monies, 1991 rate increases and structure of the <br />billings (volume), motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second <br />1835 Prairie Drive, as the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />by Buckbee to appoint Randy Hagerty, <br />Centerville Recycling Coordinator, <br /> <br />Council members were reminded to keep the garbage and recycling <br />information in this packet for the September 25, 1991 meeting. <br /> <br />Peddlers/Transient Sales Ordinance <br />The City Council discussed the possibility that the proposed <br />Ordinance may be to cumbersome and restrictive. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to direct City Staff to <br />re-draft the proposed Peddlers/Transient Sales Ordinance to be <br />somewhat less restrictive; <br />To include language which would include schools, <br />athletic, academic and public purposes; <br />To take out the Conditional Use Permit section; <br />To include a date of occupancy on the five last permit <br />addresses; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Anoka County Corrections Community Service <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to authorize the City to work <br />with the Anoka County Corrections to utilize the Community <br />Service Program, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was suggested that Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, Dale <br />Larson, Public Works Employee, Tamara Miltz-Miller, <br />Clerk/Administrator, and the City Council submit specific tasks <br />to keep in an active file for such community service. <br /> <br />Police Survey <br />Cheryl Ann Steele, 6926 Sumac Court, Tom Opitz, 6923 Sumac Court, <br />both appeared to agree that the Circle Pines/Lexington Police <br />Department is doing an excellent job and visibility has been <br />increased since service with the City of Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler will assist the Clerk/Administrator in <br />re-drafting a possible police survey to be reviewed in September. <br />
