The <br />Clerk/Administrator advised that this is the direction that the <br />City is investigating at this time. It was noted that the titles <br />and responsibilities of the ditch areas west of the Centerville <br />Road are being looked at this time. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes suggested that elevations need to be shot along the <br />easement area and the area corrected so that the easement area on <br />her lot is not the lowest. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes suggested that the City Council wait to extend the <br />Almendinger swale. Ms. Hughes suggested that the Henderson <br />property should be filled versus extending the Almendinger swale <br />and suggests that this filling not be the responsibility of the <br />City. <br /> <br />Audience members who asked questions regarding the subject were: <br />Theresa Davis - 7156 Brian Drive <br /> <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, noted that drainage easement areas <br />are not necessarily intended to be dry areas. He noted that the <br />City can not guarantee dry drainage areas. He suggested that the <br />City Council could work toward an education process versus <br />spending money in a situation where the grade just is not there. <br /> <br />Council member Pelton suggested that something be placed in the <br />next City Newsletter to initiate this education process. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes inquired as to why the swamp area two houses east of <br />her need to be drained. <br /> <br />The City Council responded that the City Council has advised that <br />it is the City's responsibility to act in that situation. <br /> <br />Data Practices Compliance <br />Ms. Hughes read a written statement to the City Council in which <br />she stated that the City Council has the wrong idea regarding <br />Data Practices. Ms. Hughes stated that she felt the <br />Clerk/Administrator was vilating the Data Practices Act. Ms. <br />Hughes requested a private meeting with the Employee Review Board <br />and offered her expertise to the City Council with regard to Date <br />Practices Act. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes did not submit a copy of her written statement to the <br />City Council at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee noted that he felt that the City was making a good <br />faith effort to be compliant to the Data Practices Act. <br />
