<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 14, 1991 <br />page six <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes noted that she felt she is never given time for her <br />issues. <br /> <br />The City Council pointed out that Ms. Hughes has been speaking at <br />this City Council meeting for the last forty-five (45) minutes. <br /> <br />Writing of the City Council Meetin~ Minutes <br />Beverly Hughes advised that she is dropping her complaint <br />regarding her request to change the June 26, 1991 City Council <br />meeting minutes. Ms. Hughes advised that the Clerk/Administrator <br />has refused to change the minutes. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator has advised that the minutes can not be <br />changed once they have already been approved by the City Council. <br />It is not within her authority to make such an amendment. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughes advised that the Clerk/Administrator refused to <br />discuss the amending of the minutes. <br /> <br />The Clerk/Administrator advised that she suggested that Ms. <br />Hughes put her concerns in writing and direct them to the City <br />Council, as the Clerk/Administrator did not have the authority to. <br />amend the meeting minutes once approved. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to request City Staff to write <br />a policy regarding citizens, interested parties and City Council <br />members who would like to address issues through City <br />Consultants, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Sod and Driveway Re~air at 1956 72nd Street <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that the sod has been <br />replaced and the driveway will be repaired. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber noted that he did view the property and <br />advised that the sod has been replaced, but is still low. He <br />noted that the cement has been fixed but he would not be happy <br />with the situation if it were his yard. <br /> <br />Driveway Repair - 1768 Center Street <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, advised that the contractor has a <br />one year warrantee which would expire in October with regard to <br />work done on the project. He noted that the contractor did not <br />feel the damage to the property was his responsibility. Mr. <br />Stewart has requested this from the contractor in writing. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Variance Request - 1689 Peltier Lake Drive <br />The variance requested is from Ordinance #4, Section 24, SCHEDULE <br />OF REGULATIONS (7) "All future new dwellings shall have an <br />
