<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 23, 1991 <br />page two <br /> <br />to authorize the Clerk/Administrator and Mayor Buckbee <br />to enter into an agreement with Mr. Almendinger or a <br />licensed contractor to correct the drainage IIhumpll for <br />a cost not to exceed $1,000.00 in the drainage easement <br />area in the north boundary of the Center Oaks I <br />Development; <br />The Clerk/Administrator will consult with Russell <br />Almendinger and Dan Tourville with regard to their <br />determination of what works needs to be done to correct <br />the "hump"; <br />To authorize the Clerk/Administrator to mail notice to <br />the property owners regarding the work to be completed <br />on the "hump"; <br />The letter shall advise that the "hump" will be viewed <br />as a temporary solution and that permanent and <br />comprehensive solution to the problems will be <br />addressed Spring 1992; <br />The letter shall also summarize briefly the results of <br />the sewer maintenance survey sent to the residents on <br />Lots 1 through 12, Block 1, Center Oaks I Development, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Drainaae Concern - 7082 Proaress Road <br />It was noted that John Stewart, the City Head Engineer, had <br />reviewed the survey supplied to the City by Paul and Peggy <br />Anderson and a letter written by Gunner Pettersen, Building <br />Inspector, dated XXXX xx, 1991 regarding the elevations on Lots <br />12 and the north, half of Lot 11, Block 2, City of Centerville, <br />known as 7082 Progress Road. The letter advises that the City <br />said that the survey and the letter by Gunnar Pettersen, Building <br />Inspector do coincide. It was noted that the back patio slab on <br />the property appears to be ten inches above street level. <br /> <br />The City Council expressed concern on how to <br />situations in the future. <br /> <br />avoid such <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct City Staff to <br />obtain information from Birchwood and Mahtomedi with regard to <br />how they handle development of individual lots with regards to <br />drainage, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to authorize City Staff <br />to work with the property owner of Lot 12, and the north half of <br />Lot 11, Block 2, known as 7082 Progress Road to develop a plan <br />regarding the drainage of the lot that the City Council will <br />review; <br />
