<br />Pursuant to due call and notice the City Council of the City of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, November 13, <br />1991 at the City Hall. Acting Mayor Burgstahler called the <br />meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Present: Dario, Pelton, <br />Wilharber. Absent: Buckbee. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Pelton to approve the November 4, <br />1991 special meeting minutes, Aye - Darioj Aye - Wilharberj Aye <br />- Pelton; Abstain - Burgstahler, motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Center Hills Second Addition <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario that per the recommendation <br />of the City Engineer to approve a Partial Pay Estimate in the <br />dollar amount of $29,403.63 payable to Ro-So Contracting, Inc. <br />for work completed on the Center Hills Second Addition, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Center Oaks I - Drainage Maintenance <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to direct City Staff to <br />work with Council member Pelton to put out a letter to the Center <br />Oaks I residents to include a survey requesting the input of <br />those residents, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the letter and survey to be sent to the Center Oaks I <br />residents is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />Snow Plowing <br />Acting Mayor Burgstahler commended the City Staff on their long <br />flours, extra time and effort, wi t,h t,he rec~ent, "mega at,orm". He <br />noted however that doesn't mean that the City can not learn from <br />this experiences and prepare for the future. <br /> <br />Mayor Buckbee, although not present at the meeting, made a <br />written recommendation to the City Council to consider a possible <br />appointment of a task force to review current established <br />emergency procedures, to compare actual procedures to established <br />procedures, to develop and recommend improved procedures in order <br />to provide the most efficient, safe and cost effective snow <br />plowing service for residents in Centerville. <br /> <br />Member of the audience who spoke on this issue were: <br />Tom Optiz, 6923 Sumac Court <br />Mary Jane Lang, 1557 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Dario to request that City Staff <br />contact the following persons to request that they serve on a <br />Snow Plowing Policy Task Force. Those persons would be: <br />Dave Lutz, 7170 Shad Avenue <br />Joe Steele, 6926 Sumac Court <br />Orville Hughes, Public Works Director <br />
