<br />City of Centerville <br />June 25, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Ms. Turgeon indicated that residents do not need or want water but understand why it is <br />necessary. She then conunented that the residents do not see the need for the sidewalk <br />and noted the assessment amount is a lot of money for working class families. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Simonson, 7362 CentervilIe Road, indicated there is a lot of water not only on <br />the comer but the entire east side of CentervilIe Road. <br /> <br />VI. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />1. Mr. Rick Carlson Request for Rezone from R-l to R-2 PUD. Lot Combination. <br />Preliminary Plat & Comprehensive Plan Amendment Advancing MUSA <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney opened the public hearing at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Capra to approve <br />Resolution #03-039 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to close the public heario!!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member Lee <br />to approve the rezone from R-l to R-2 pun for Hunter's Crossin!! 2nd Addition <br />Phase 1 and II. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to approve the lot combination. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve the preliminary plat for Hunter's Crossin!! 2nd Addition. Phase I. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson asked if the approval granted would allow for grading in Phase II as well. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that a grading permit could be issued. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated he had started the feasibility study and would have a draft <br />available soon. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Llovd Drilling Request to Rezone from B-1 to R-2 (6939 - 20th Avenue) <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney reopened the public hearing at 7: 17 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling indicated that he is continually talking to people and working on the <br />paperwork but is not ready for the public hearing on the rezone at this time. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 12 <br />
