Report on Anoka County Senate District Meetinl! <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that she, along with Mayor Sweeney and Council Member <br />Capra, attended the Anoka County Senate District meeting. She then indicated that there <br />were interesting and informative discussions. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney commented that the North Star Commuter Rail is popular with those on <br />the western side of the County, posing a bit of east/west conflict. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that they were looking for someone to serve on a <br />committee to review a County-wide housing and redevelopment for Anoka County. She <br />then commented that there is concern from those cities on the eastern side of the County <br />that their residents would be paying for development in the western cities. <br /> <br />Ms. Paulseth indicated the HRA has the ability to levy and as far as EDA levies, they <br />typically have very little impact on the individual property owner. <br /> <br />Page 12 ofl4 <br />
