<br />September 24,2008 <br /> <br />Dallas Larson <br />Administrator <br />City of Centerville <br />1880 Main Street <br />Centervllle, MN 55038 <br /> <br />Re: Transportation Enhancement Trail Grant <br />Preliminary Survey and Project Memorandum Engineering Proposal <br />City of Centerville <br />Bonestroo File No.: 000616-08165-0 <br /> <br />Dear Dallas: <br /> <br />As a first step in the proposed Transportation Enhancement Trail Grant project, preliminary <br />survey work and an environmental document known as a Project Memorandum, will need to be <br />completed. The following outlines our scope of services and the associated fees for these two <br />activities. <br /> <br />Preliminarv SUrvey <br />As is now required by law, the locations of existing private utilities will need to be shown on the <br />plans. Therefore, we will need to call in Gopher State One Call tickets for each segment of trail <br />being considered. These tickets will provide us with both schematic maps of the utilities as well <br />as on-the-ground markings. Typical topographiC survey information (induding existing utility <br />locations) will be collected by our survey crews for segments H, K, L, P and Q as shown on the <br />attached map. Portions of H and K have already been surveyed in conjunction with other <br />projects but there Is still a need for some supplemental. information in these areas. Segment E <br />was thoroughly surveyed as part of the 2009 Street Project. Segments I and J will not be <br />surveyed at this time, since the construction of these segments will be done in conjunction with <br />more extensive downtown redevelopment. <br /> <br />The work described above can be completed for a fee not to exceed $19,200. <br /> <br />2335 Highway 36 W <br />51.
