CONSENT AGENDA <br />1.City of Centerville September 29, 2005 through October 12, 2005 Claims <br />2.Centennial Fire District September 29, 2005 Claims <br />3.Centennial Fire District Quarterly Claim <br />4.State Fire Aid Disbursement to Centennial Fire District - $149,114.00 <br />5.Attendance of the Financial Management Training – Finance Director - $20 <br />6.Maguire Iron Pay Request #12 - $8,552.53 (Water Tower Project) <br />Council Member Lakso requested that claim check 20693 be removed for discussion. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Consent Agenda Items 2 through 6 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Council Member Lakso asked what is the City paying for. Mr. Larson replied the <br />company provides a service to the City. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Terway to <br />approve Consent Agenda Item 1 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Resolution #05-045 – Appointment of Police Chief <br />Council Member Lee stated Council was previously asked if they would like to consider <br />and appoint the interim police chief as police chief. He added the Centennial Lakes Joint <br />Powers Governing Board unanimously would like to approve the appointment. <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Resolution #05-045 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />2. Resolution #05-046 – Fund Closeout 2005 <br />Mr. Larson stated this resolution provides the opportunity to close funds that have been <br />on the books for several years; all requirements have been met. He added the reason <br />some funds have minus dollars is because the project ran over but assessments were <br />already established so there is no opportunity to recover these dollars. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Resolution #05-046 as presented.
