City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />August 10, 2005 <br /> 10. Chicilo Homes, 2052 Gateway Circle – Site Plan <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed the Site Plan with Council and noted the Planning <br />Commission has recommended approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the Site Plan for Chicilo Homes at 2052 Gateway Circle as recommended by Staff <br />and the Planning Commission. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 11. North Metro Telecommunications Commission/Media Center 2006 Budget <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />the North Metro Telecommunications Commission/Media Center 2006 Budget as <br />presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra commented that Heidi Aronson does an excellent job of managing the <br />facility. <br /> <br /> 12. Resolution #05-037 – Proclamation Domestic Violence Month, October <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Lee to approve <br />Resolution #05-037 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> 13. CenterPoint Energy Request for Right-of-Way Permit Application <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that CenterPoint Energy will be doing a lot of work <br />in the City to correct faulty connections similar to the one that caused the explosion in <br />Ramsey and has asked for consideration of one permit fee rather than a permit fee for <br />each of the 217 connections that need to be replaced. <br /> <br />Council discussed the matter and agreed to accept $100 per home for a total of $21,700 <br />for the permit fee based on 217 homes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso to <br />approve the amount of $21,700 based on $100 per home for 217 homes in the form <br />of cash or letter of credit. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 14. Traffic Control Signs at Intersections Within the City <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that she had placed this on the Agenda for consideration due to <br />the severe accident in Hugo involving a young boy on a motorized scooter at an <br />uncontrolled intersection. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that it has been the general policy of the City not to control <br />every intersection within the City.
