<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 23, 1992 <br />page three <br /> <br />Council member Pelton noted that it was her oplnlon that the <br />intent of the Comprehensive Plan was to increase the value and <br />quality of homes within the City of Centerville. She noted that <br />lot size does not appear to determine the size or quality of <br />homes built on them. She noted that builders covenants and <br />natural amenities make the difference. The development should <br />have character and a sense of specialness. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to authorize the <br />installation of sewer and water along the route as ~hown by an <br />engineer plan dated September 1992, sheets 13-18; <br />to authorize City Staff, and appropriate officials to <br />enter into contracts necessary to proceed to provide <br />for a change order in the Center Hills, Third Addition <br />1992 Municipal Water Extension contract with Ro-So <br />Contracting, Inc., for a cost not to exceed $58,317.23; <br />contingent upon: <br />review of the appropriate documents by the City <br />Attorney; <br />that a change in the method of estimating the time <br />for completion to June 30, 1993 be added to the <br />change order; <br />that the time frame for a new road black top <br />reconstruction due to the installation of sewer <br />and water and the time frame for an operational <br />sewer system be determined by City Staff and <br />appropriate officials and met by the developer; <br />upon the appropriate permits being received from <br />the Rice Creek Watershed District, Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency, etc., <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the Change Order is on file with the <br />Clerk/Administrator with regard to the $58,317.23 change order. <br /> <br />Municipal Well Number Two <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Pelton to approve Change Order <br />Number One per the recommendation of Maier, Stewart and- <br />Associates with E.H.
