Motion by Buckbee, second by Burgstahler to request that Centennial Fire District Chief Milo Bennett assist the City of Centerville in the sale of the 1974 Dodge Van and that the City of Centerville shall retain ownership of the 1969 Ford Tanker, motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Municipal Buildin~ Bids Randy Bosch of Gilbert Construction was present to go over the bids received on Monday, August 24, 1992 for the Municipal Building. The total dollar amount of the bids was $280,084.00. This is approximately $5,000.00 under budget. Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to accept and award the bids received on August 24, 1992 as recommended by Gilbert Construction in their letter dated August 26, 1992 regarding "Fire Station and Municipal Building Sub Contractor Bids" including the recommendation to direct Vas on Plumbing Inc. and A.G.A. listed under mechanical, motion carried unanimously. Howard Bohanon/Gordon Jensen - Mill Road/Havfield Road Drainsae Issue Gordon Jensen, Attorney for Howard Bohanon, appeared before the City Council to make a formal request for the return of $2,300.00 being held in escrow by the City of Centerville until satisfactory drainage can be accomplished between Lot 1, Block 3 Peterson Old Homestead Addition and Lot 1, Block 4 Centerville Heights. Mr. Jensen appeared to feel that a satisfactory solution has already been accomplished and the objective of proper drainage has been met. He advised that Mr. Bohanon has scraped off black dirt from the Nelson property on Lot 1, Block 3 Peterson Old Homestead Addition to make the correction and then replaced the same black dirt onto the property. He advised Mr. Bohanon never intended to bring in fill so the water would drain out to the north. He advised that the Lien's own the property at Lot 1, Block 4 Centerville Heights. They would like the grading to stay as it is and feel there is no problem. They advised that they do not have a problem with water from the Nelson's property draining over the rear of their property. Mr. Bohanon advised that Ms. Nelson originally had water standing in her yard and now all of her lot is usable to the lot line. John Stewart, City Engineer, was at the meeting and was asked to issue an opinion on the project. Mr. Stewart advised that he has not previously provided a proposal to Mr. Bohanon as to how to correct the grading. He noted that the issue is how long the
