<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 12, 1992 <br />page four <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Wilharber to authorize a change <br />order to the sepcifications for Center Hills. Third Addition <br />Streety and Utility Improvements and City Hall Site Water Main <br />Extension - dated June 1992 to allow the extension of municipal <br />sewer and water through the proposed Acorn Creek Development to <br />facilitate the Center Hills. Third Addition eliminating the need <br />for a temporary lift station in the Center Hills. Third Addition, <br />contingent upon: <br />receipt of a proper petition from the property owner; <br />a signed waiver of release of liability and <br />responsibility for the City; <br />the City of Centerville shall absorb the oversizing <br />costs in the amount of $17.500.00; <br />the cost to the Developer shall be $152,000.00; <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Financin~ - Munici9al Buildin~/Center Hills, Third Addition/Acorn <br />Creek Sewer and Water Extension/Second Municioal Well and Pumo <br />House/Main Street Water Extension/Wegletiner Water Extension <br />Carolyn Drude, Municipal Financial Advisor, was present at the <br />meeting. She advised that she inquired of David Kennedy. the <br />bond attorney, to see whether the City Council could utilize the <br />Flood Plain Reduction Bond for the Center Hills. Third Addition <br />project. She advised that Mr. Kennedy urges the City not to do <br />so if there is a chance the project will come to life. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee. second by Dario to authorize Council member <br />Burgstahler. the City Clerk/Administrator and Mayor Buckbee to <br />work out the details of the financing for: <br />the Center Hills, Third Addition, <br />the Mill Road/Weglitner Addition water extension. <br />the Main Street water extension, <br />the Municipal Building, <br />and to work out the details of said financing with Carolyn Drude, <br />Municipal Financial Advisor; <br />authorization for advertisement for bids; <br />the numbers proposed for financing consideration at <br />this meeting shall not exceed the dollar amounts in a <br />letter dated August 12, 1992 from Ehlers and <br />Associates, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />A copy of the August 12, 1992 letter from Ehlers and Associates <br />regarding projects for consideration financing is on file with <br />the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Ms. Drude advised that it is anticipated the City should award <br />the bid on September 9, 1992 and that money should be available <br />before the end of September. <br />
