<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 21, 1992 <br />page five <br /> <br />the drainage situation and agreed that, had the lot been graded <br />to specifications, this problem would not exist. <br />Clerk/Administrator Siebenaler indicated that the contractor will <br />be excavating the area to specifications as soon as the frost is <br />deep enough to support the heavy equipment that is needed to do <br />the work. <br /> <br />No action was taken by the City Council. <br /> <br />Clerk/Administrator Siebenaler indicated that in his discussion <br />with the Wyne~s, it was acknowledged that they are aware of the <br />fact that their driveway was on City property and intend to move <br />the driveway entirely onto their property. Clerk/Administrator <br />Siebenaler further indicated that the Wyne~s realize that the <br />gravel needed to be moved, however they preferred to have the <br />gravel pushed onto their property rather than removed by the <br />contractor. <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber explained that, whenever the <br />construction of driveways onto County roads occurs, permission is <br />generally required from the County_ Council member Wilharber <br />further stated the City had to get permission for a second <br />driveway for the new City Hall. <br /> <br />Clerk/Administrator Siebenaler indicated that according to <br />discussions with Anoka County, the Wyne~s would need permission <br />from the County to do any work in the boulevard or right-of-way <br />and must obtain permission from Anoka County to relocate the <br />driveway. <br /> <br />Mr. Steven Wyne indicated that he wanted to move the culvert <br />several years ago but the County would not allow him to move it. <br /> <br />Council member Pelton indicated that Gilbert Construction is <br />aware of the need to replace the gravel and would prefer to <br />replace it at this time so that they can complete the contract. <br />Council member Pelton further stated this item could be put on a <br />punch list and completed in the spring. <br /> <br />Council member Burgstahler recommended that the City staff <br />communicate to Anoka County that the City of Centerville does not <br />object to the driveway. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council member Wilharber asked Mr. Wyne when the driveway was <br />installed. <br /> <br />Mr. Wyne indicated that he thought it was installed in 1989, <br />prior to his purchase of the property_ <br />
