<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 8, 1992 <br />page four <br /> <br />Steven's would be instructed to undertake the <br />necessary repairs; <br />the grading of the driveway shall be slanted to the <br />south to stabilize the east bank of the ditch and to <br />minimize erosion control, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Center Hills - Second Addition <br />John Stewart, City Engineer, presented a letter dated July 1, <br />1992 regarding the Center Hills, Second Addition. Mr. Stewart <br />advised that the bituminous wearing course remains to be <br />completed on the entire project and that the Contractor requests <br />an extension of the completion date to June 15, 1993. <br /> <br />A copy of the letter dated July 1, 1992 from John Stewart, Maier, <br />Stewart and Associates is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion by Burgstahler, second by Wilharber to authorize approval <br />of a change order for Ro-So Contracting, Inc., to extend the <br />completion of the second lift of the streets to June 15, 1993, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Stewart also presented partial pay estimate number 5 for Ro- <br />So Contracting, Inc., for the Center Hill, Second Addition. The <br />pay estimate covers work completed to date and is in the amount <br />of $4,810.72. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by <br />recommendation of the City Engineer <br />partial pay estimate number 5 for <br />the Center Hills, Second Addition, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Wilharber that per the <br />the City Council approves <br />Ro-So Contracting, Inc., for <br />in the amount of $4,810.72, <br /> <br />Center Hills - Third Addition <br />The City Council reviewed the final plat of the Center Hills, <br />Third Addition. Mayor Buckbee suggested the north end of Brian <br />Drive and the west end of 73rd Street be "T'd" until such <br />time the streets were to be extended. <br /> <br />Council member Pelton expressed concern of possible sump pump <br />drainage on to 73rd Street near the area of Lot 3, Block 2 Center <br />Hills, Third Addition and also the "mound" area on said lot. <br /> <br />Motion by Pelton, second by Burgstahler to approve the final plat <br />of the Center Hills, Third Addition contingent upon: <br />Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 2 grading be adjusted so that <br />they drain into a beehive area behind the curb on 73rd <br />6tf@@t At Lot I, Dlook II <br />
