I I I City Council Meeting Minutes July 8, 1992 page five Lot 3, Block 2 elevation shall be adjusted to 908.0; the "mound" area on Lot 3, Block 2 shall be lowered; the bituminous "T's" for turn around shall be installed at the west end of 73rd Street and the north end of Brian Drive to the satisfaction of the City Engineer; the Development Agreement be signed by the Developer and the appropriate representatives of the City of Centerville; that the Developer submit the appropriate escrows and letters of credit and fees for the development, motion carried unanimously. Municipal Well John Stewart, City Engineer, gave an update to the City Council regarding the second municipal well. He noted that the original estimate for clearing and grubbing given by Gordons Landscaping Lawn Care and Snowplowing was $13,360.00. In viewing the high cost of this bid, a second bid was obtained from Jim Steven's Construction, Inc. The Jim Steven's Construction, Inc. bid came to $5,900.00. Motion by Burgstahler, second by Pelton to accept the bid for clearing and grubbing trees and brush on the municipal building site from Jim Steven's Construction, Inc., for a total of $5,900.00., motion carried unanimously. Center Hills - Third Addition - Assessment HearinQ Date Motion by Pelton, second by Wilharber to adopt a resolution to set the Assessment Hearing date for the Center Hills, Third Addition Improvement to be August 12, 1992, 7:00 p.m., motion carried unanimously. We~leitner's Addition - Petition for Local Improvement/Kxtension of Municipal Water John Stewart, City Engineer, was present to discuss a letter dated July 8, 1992 regarding a petition for water system extension to the Wegleitner's Addition. A copy of this letter is on file with the Clerk/Administrator. The letter indicated that the cost per unit for extension of municipal water to the Wegleitner's Addition is estimated to be $5,240.00. Mr. Stewart advised that the petitioners have requested two weeks in which to consider said cost. Mr. Stewart advised that a closer estimate of the actual cost could be obtained after the bids were known for the Center Hills, Third Addition and municipal facility municipal water extension project were known. It appeared to be the consensus of the City Council to table this issue until August 12, 1992.
